Echo Restaurant at 4130 Lake Tahoe Boulevard, South Lake Tahoe, California.

My wife and I stayed at Lake Tahoe Resort in early June/17 and had dinner twice at their Echo restaurant. Nice place, friendly staff, clean, and not a crowded set up with the tables/booths. A good variety of food offerings. Fair priced compared to similar restaurants in the area but the best thing is that there is no driving involved.
If you like ahi tuna steak seared and served raw you MUST have it there. It was laid over a bed of rice cake/risotto with Asian slaw topped with thin slices of ginger. The sauce they used over the ahi was absolutely delicious. I always order seared ahi whenever it is on any menu but I have to say this was the absolute by far best I've ever had. Wife had a delicious grilled chicken breast dish which she totally enjoyed.
The next night we decided to have burgers and thought we'd go to one of those restaurants nearby but then checked out the natural grass fed burgers at Echo and decided why would we go to a sports type bar restaurant when we can get better meat at a place as nice as Echo. Fair priced and delicious burgers!!
